Piano Division 2018
Piano Division is Closed for 2018
Enrollments have reached capacity for this division, but will be accepting wait-list entries at no charge. There may be some openings in late February or early March, and then we will accept wait-listed entries. New enrollments will automatically be added to the wait list. There is no charge until your entry is accepted.
Each performer will play one or two selections of contrasting styles. All selections must be played from memory.
To qualify for the Concerto Section, each performer must first enter a class in the Solo Section. Performers are expected to play from memory, one or two movements of a standard repertoire work within the time limit. An accompanist is required.
One piano (four hands) or two pianos (four hands or eight hands). Performers may use sheet music. An ensemble should be registered in the class that corresponds to the age of the oldest member of the ensemble. Names and instruments of all members of the ensemble shall be listed on the registration and the ensemble name. Only one registration and entry fee is necessary for the ensemble.
